| Standing on Woolworth's Tower in Greek Nicosia one can stare through the glass windows into the Turkish area of Cyprus but no Greek Cypriot may cross the barrier they can see below | For years the buildings near the barriers where armed guards prevent people from crossing from one part of the city to another, have been deserted and left to decay. Now however the Greek government is spending money renovating them and people are moving back in. |
