I found the staff here friendly. The hotel was too far out of Paphos for an easy stroll into town and there were few tavernas nearby but the bus service was frequent and the food in the restaurant good.
At the bottom of the grounds a small peninsula provided a harbour for a couple of fishing boats where I snapped the fishermen mending their nets early in the morning

The grounds were well planted and I often set up my lounger between these banana trees.

In December, when I was there, the weather was not always fine, but there was an indoor heated swimming pool in the games complex which I had mostly to myself. When I finished swimming I lay out with a novel on a lounger by the large windows and pretended it was summer. It was a most peaceful holiday
